How to use Makhana for Weight loss

Lotus seeds can be eaten as roasted and ground. Soaked overnight in water, they can be put in curry dishes, soups and salads. These are also added in dry roasted snacks and rice puddings. Below is how you can use it for weight loss:

Take a heavy bottomed pan, dry roast the lotus seeds on a low flame of heat. Once they are roasted add a spoonful of ghee, pepper and salt. Stir it for a few minutes and let them cool completely. After cooling them, store them in an airtight container.
